THE 3 MOST GENEROUS SUPERSTARS ON TWITTER
Priya Gupta |
Having followed the social media behaviour of our superstars for a while, we bring you three of them -Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan, who by far are the most generous when it comes to praising not just newcomers, but most importantly their competitors on Twitter.Their liberal praise of the work of others brings out not just their generosity , but also their humility and most importantly, the fact that they are secure as individuals. While you may normally expect this behaviour to be obvious, in our film industry , it is rare as every one competes fiercely thriving on bringing down their competitor all the time. In a conversation with Hrithik Roshan, we asked him what makes him so generous and this is what he had to say, “Everybody needs empowerment. If you tell me that Mr Bachchan doesn't feel good when he gets a compliment, you are wrong.Everybody needs to hear good stuff even if you think they have every thing you know. The human tank works in a different way . It doesn't get filled up with your cars and money or by your success. It gets filled up with your praise and love.If I have the power to empower someone, I take it upon myself to.People who don't praise, have a very defective model of the world in their minds. That is why , they don't praise. They feel that if they give their power to somebody else, it will take away from their own power. If I call Akshay Kumar an industry by himself, am I saying that I am less or I am not that, No.It doesn't take away from me. I am genuinely out of the equation when I praise someone. I am only focusing on that person as I want that person to feel good as I believe that that person needs the credit. For doing something great in your life or for making someone happy or for just being a smiley person.Give people. It's not about how I feel, it's about how I make the other person feel. Take yourself out of the equation. I believe that it will come back to you two-fold in some other way in your life.“
